THE STORY BEHIND THE PRODUCT

Mohd Danish specializes in using machinery to create wooden products for Matr Boomie. Danish comes from a crafting village in India, which is where he originally learned the craft from his elder brothers.
To create wood products, Danish starts out with a piece of mango wood. The wood is cut into smaller pieces and then marked for desired shape, design, and size. Next, Danish places the mango wood piece onto a turning machine that revolves the piece around to cut, giving a circular shape to the wood piece. After, he uses sandpaper to give finishing to the piece, then it is polished with natural buffing. Danish saves the best part for last, which is engraving with a laser machine.
