Bankim Khatua is one of the highly skilled and innovative artisans in Shantikutir SHG, a partner of Sasha Exports! He learned this craft from his father and other family members and is always ready to take initiative for any new sample development.
He also has the ability to organize and motivate other artisans. He is able to do this because of his many years of work experience. For the above reasons, he is a very valuable member in his team. He is married with two sons and one daughter in law and aspires to provide proper financial support to his family.
Creating the fruit forks in a lengthy process that requires dedication and an eye for detail. The steps include gathering the raw materials, cutting the wood and grinding, heating and molding the forks. After, to create a smooth texture, sanding, budding and polishing are required before they’re checked for quality purposes and shipped to our customers.
