"I’m Artashes Harutyunyan, and I was born, raised, and continue to live in Armenia, a land where ancient traditions blend seamlessly with modern artistry. In Armenia, our villages are nestled among majestic mountains and romantic valleys, where the narrow streets are alive with the warmth of our people, the smell of freshly baked bread, and an enduring connection to our heritage. I have had the opportunity to work in various fields throughout my life, developing a range of skills across different professions. However, the art of crafting has always held a special place in my heart. Creating is more than just a profession for me; it’s a way to satisfy my soul and express my inner self.

"While I enjoy painting and have created some works that I’m proud of, it was leatherworking that truly captivated me. Since my childhood, I have been fascinated by the transformation of leather under the hands of skilled artisans, watching as it becomes something both beautiful and functional. This early admiration grew into a personal passion, and I began practicing leatherwork and shoemaking in my free time. Over the years, I realized that this craft gave me a sense of fulfillment that no other activity could. After careful thought and preparation, I decided to pursue leatherwork more seriously, founding my own tannery workshop—a bright, sunlit space filled with the unmistakable aroma of leather and dyes.

"In my workshop, I work alongside a trusted partner, and together, we are dedicated to producing leather goods of the highest quality. We use only the best materials, ensuring that each item we create is durable, stylish, and designed to stand the test of time. Leatherwork is more than just a profession for us; it’s our way of life. Every piece we produce tells a story, blending the timelessness of Armenian tradition with the practicality of modern design. Working with leather allows me to bring together elements of beauty, functionality, and tradition, creating products that are not only useful but also carry a piece of Armenian heritage within them.
