"My name is Ni Wayan Nuliati. I was born in Sukawati in 1968, the first of four children. My parents were farmers.

"Bali is a region of Indonesia which is famous for its beautiful scenery, its friendly people, tolerance, and a rich variety of cultures and ethnicities.

"I used to help my parents in any way I could. I worked in a restaurant as a teen. But most of the villagers in the area are wood-carvers, creating beautiful relief panels, sculptures and masks. "In my free time, I like gym and physical exercises. After graduating from high school, I got married. My husband is a skilled wood-carver and I learned this art from him.""

No more losing my glasses

I have many pairs of glasses; hate the thought of bi-focals, let alone tri-focals. Tried them, got dizzy. So now I have Computer Glasses, Reading Glasses, "TV" glasses and driving glasses. This gentleman has a place of honor and is sitting next to the couch to care for my TV glasses. If I forget to put them there, my husband knows that's were they go and has my back. I'll be on watch for another stand for my desk
