THE STORY BEHIND THE PRODUCT

Artisan Organization: Lusine Harutyunyan

Country: Armenia

"My name is Lusine Harutyunyan and I was born in 1984, in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. I studied at the design department of the Panos Terlemezyan University, then at the stage design department of the State Institute of Theater and Cinema. Along with my years of study, I worked at Yerevan's Anania Shirakatsi seminary as an artist-designer.

"I started making jewelry when I was still studying at Terlemezyan. Jewelry has always been an interesting accessory for me, and I loved wearing unique jewelry. Then my relatives and friends started ordering my jewelry, saying that they wanted an original, trusting the design to my taste and delicacy. I started working more energetically and every day something new was born. I choose the shape, color, and material of the jewelry myself and I strive to keep originality in my designs.""
