charming
the pomegranate design is lovely - beautful colors - a bit on the small side for larger serving spoons but I'm using it as kitchen decor (added a hanging cord so it's on the wall)

A meal is even better if made with love, and Arsen Badalyan's newest creation captures that tender emotion in its traditional details. Crafted from ceramic in Armenia, this cute spoon rest is painted by the artisan in a combination of blue, brown and red hues, which bring a classic pomegranate detail to life as a symbol of passion and romance. Glazed for a glowing look, the piece also features a cord to hang it.

"My name Arsen Badalyan and I've been creating pottery since the year 2000. Over the years, I delved into extensive literature and conducted numerous experiments. In 2015, I acquired my third large kiln, marking a turning point as I began focusing more earnestly on refining both the range and quality of my creations.
"My aim is to create works that will make people smile. I wish for my work to seamlessly integrate into people's daily lives as practical or tasteful home accents. The production process is executed with essential tools: rolling mills, clay processing machinery, plaster templates, and kilns.
"I exclusively use Armenian clay, processing all clay materials in my workshop. My palette is enriched with pigments derived from experiments, resulting in a myriad of colors.
"The artistic journey comprises of five stages:
1. Preparation of raw materials (both clay and glazes)
2. Shaping and forming the product
3. Initial firing
4. Application of glaze
5. Final firing
"My aspiration is to create products of impeccable quality that can hold their own against factory-made items."
