Hi, friends! I am Karan Singh from Jaipur, the pink city of India. I am very jovial, ambitious and emotional by nature. I come from a family that works in tourism heritage hotels. After my graduation, I joined my parent’s business. A lot of national and international customers used to come and stay at our hotels. I used to accompany them to various textile houses.

I was so impressed with the fashion and textile industry that I decided to do something of my own. In 2017, I started my own workshop with a handful of people. During my initial days, my friends who were already in the textile industry helped, guided and supported me. At the present time, I have a team of 50-60 members working with me. My inspiration comes from Indian culture and its heritage.

"I have not taken any specific courses. But real-life situations have taught me the most. I believe these situations are the biggest institution in themselves. I decided to learn the fabric details, techniques and intricacies of garments and fabrics. I visited many artisans and learned from them all the details and techniques. The method and beauty of block printing fascinate me a lot.

"There is nothing more satisfying than to see Indian produced goods appreciated in the international market. The process of making and presenting Indian art to the world attracted me to come in this field of work.

"The journey so far has been challenging, but creating something good is very satisfying. We work with all-natural fibers. The challenging part is to understand which fabric quality will give the best results for collections. And to make the artisans understand the quality expectations of our customers. Bridging this mindset is most challenging. Our main goal is to transform our customer’s vision and requirements into perfect garments.

"I have helped several fashion graduates to understand real-world challenges in the fashion industry. Working with me gives my team employment and better living standards. My wife also assists me in my work. We divide work as per our competency. We have exported to Italy, France, Netherlands, Australia, the UK and Spain. We have participated in the IIGF fair for almost four years now, and we participated in the International Sourcing Fair, Melbourne in 2019. We were also a part of many virtual fairs during COVID.
