Graceful and feminine, this blouse is designed by Isha Jain. She selects handloomed cotton in bright lime green for the scoop-neck tunic. Ornate motifs in vivid rose exemplify the ancient Indian block print technique, and beads, applied by hand, adorn the placket. The top slips over the head.
As is typical of genuine handloomed fabric, there are tiny slubs throughout. This occurs when a thread runs out, and the weaver extends it by twisting a new thread together with the old.

I was born and brought up in Delhi, where my childhood was filled with fun. I loved sketching and coloring, and would spend hours in painting and cutting stencils. This passion for colors and paintings led me to pursue a career in designing and fashion retail management at the National Institute of Fashion Technology.
I've always loved doing something creative – whether it was related to colors or abstract modern patterns, and I also had an inclination towards computers. My first job with a fashion house was a great learning experience. But I always felt something was missing – I always wanted to do something outside the box. So started on my own. Here, I have no limitation to explore my creativity. And I am loving every moment.
