"Tegalalang is my parents' village, the place where I learned to make various kinds of handicrafts such as photo albums, photo frames, notebooks and much more. Creating new designs is so much fun for me. Arranging different kinds of materials together is not a hard thing to do but, of course, it requires patience and skill. The materials I use are mostly natural fibers like banana bark, hibiscus leaves, lamtoro and recycled paper.
"I was unable to continue my studies to the level I wanted. This wasn't a good experience but it never crossed my mind to regret what has happened. Beautiful leaf cover
Cover detail is fragile, but beautiful. If your sensitive to rough texture, this may be a problem.
I learned there are different types of rice paper. As I intended to use this for watercolor, I learned this is more for inks. I did manage to get one of my plants done with watercolor pencil, just a couple spots were questionable worn thin. It's more the texture of homemade, recycled paper. Pen journal it is.
