"Hello friends; my name is Harish Verma and I come from Rewari, a small town in Haryana, India. My friends say that I have a very helpful nature; I am very caring and have a positive attitude.
"I am very passionate about my work. Handicrafts are in my blood. This is my ancestral work. Since my childhood days, I have seen my family members doing this work, so I also got interested in it. My father, brother and other family members taught me this art. After learning this craft, I started my own workshop 3 years back with a few skilled craftspeople to work with me.
"My father is my inspiration. Ancient Indian artworks also inspire me to a great extent. My father and my brother fully support me and encourage me to flourish in my work.
"We mostly use cotton for our yoga mats and area rugs as, it is most readily available in the market, and cotton can be recycled or reused in other works. I explain my design to my craftsmen and instruct them to make it like that. My craftsmen work very hard and meticulously to make the pieces.
