Refugee Bath Co.

 

Hailing from Tanzania, Zuwena is a single mother with four children. She spent 16 years in refugee camps before transitioning with three of her four children to the USA in 2016. Her fourth child currently lives in Tanzania with her mother. Since her transition to the US, Zuwena has taken a liking to typical American food, pizza especially.

Zuwena’s eye for attention and detail has made her the chief bath bomb maker for Refugee Bath Co. She is meticulous and diligent everyday, and is a leader in maintaining consistency for the brand. Zuwena cannot go about her day without music though. She loves to sing and you can hear the sounds of African music coming from her workshop. If Zuwena is ever absent from the workshop, the other workers miss her music and lively spirit.
