Artisan Organization: Pasek Mahardika
Country: Bali and Java
"I'm Pasek Mahardika, born in Bali, in 2002. My interest in jewelry craftsmanship began when my father, a skilled silver craftsman, introduced me to the craft. He has been my guide from the very start, and his support has allowed me to be actively involved in both the design and production process.
"My designs are deeply rooted in Balinese art and culture. In a broader sense, my designs are inspired by nature and animals, adorned with motifs commonly found in traditional Balinese architecture. Through my creations, I aim to convey a message of environmental conservation and the preservation of animal ecosystems. I hope that my designs can contribute to the protection of the environment and put an end to the hunting of animals and their habitats.
"The hallmark of my designs is the fusion of modern and traditional elements, resulting in timeless jewelry that appeals to all generations. This allows me to reach a broader market. I aspire to make my designs more popular through my collaboration with Novica and to find inspiration to create even more diverse designs.""
