"Hello, my name is Kathrine Atthakor, and I was born in Bangkok. I have always been fascinated by jewelry and gemstones, but it wasn't until my sister took me to a handcrafted jewelry store that I started taking it seriously. The shop offered a wide variety of stones, from large ones to well-cut gemstones. It was an interesting field to explore. I spent a considerable amount of time there, carefully examining each charm and researching the stories behind each stone. I discovered that each stone was special, even if it came from different locations but was the same type of stone. That's what makes stones so fascinating.
"I enjoy researching the therapeutic properties of different stones. I believe that meditation is the primary result of therapy, and stones are not only used to create jewelry for aesthetic purposes but also to make amulets or religious objects like rosaries or statues of gods. Each type of stone is typically chosen based on its significance or a particular belief, and I became certain that stones possess unique powers.
"I started making simple stone jewelry that can be worn daily and allow you to appreciate the beauty of each individual stone. I began making and selling these items to friends. I also incorporated macramé knitting and Hill Tribe silver beads into my designs to make them more distinctive while still keeping them simple. The selection of color combinations with symbolic meanings is a highlight, such as black and red for prosperity in work, purple and black for mystery and power, and so on.""
