"Hi! My name is Woranit Intarachit, and you may call me "Clone." I earned this nickname while studying Fine Art. In 1986, I was born in Lampang (the third-largest city in northern Thailand) and raised there. Then, I transferred to Chiang Mai University to major in sculpture and minor in ceramics.
"I was able to sell my ceramic work and start merchandising while studying at university; I started a modest gift shop that gathered things from several brands I admired. I discovered a large materials market when I went to Bangkok to look for things. Because I had a sewing machine at the time, I decided to try my hand at making a cloth bag. I learned how to sew, cut and stitch from a foreign language book and the internet, and everything went smoothly. I experimented with different materials, such as leather, and tried to develop my style until I was satisfied.
"I shuttered all my stores and went solo. I do everything alone, from production to marketing. Now I rent a tiny workshop in the same location where my girlfriend is opening a cafe. I took my merchandise to sell in the Chiang Mai weekend market, and my customers were always pleased and returned.
"Sometimes inspiration strikes by chance. For example, a new pattern may emerge from leather pieces, resulting in a one-of-a-kind object. I want to make my things look like works of art. I also enjoy drawing and applying everything I've learned to my products.
"My future has no surprises. It is deemed successful and pleasant if every day has completed the challenge. I hope that my items will please a large number of people worldwide. Thank you very much." "
