"Hello, I’m Arusyak Matevosyan. From a young age, I was always drawn to creating things by hand. I spent countless hours exploring different crafts and finding joy in each unique piece that took shape. As I grew older, this passion evolved naturally into an enduring love for jewelry design. What began as a fascination with materials and forms gradually turned into a deep and lasting connection with the art of jewelry making, a journey that has led me to where I am today.

"My work began with brass and copper, metals that felt both earthy and strong, yet malleable enough to bring my visions to life. There’s a special magic in taking raw materials and crafting them into pieces that people can wear and treasure. The rustic warmth of these metals allowed me to explore the contrast between the organic and the refined, and I loved creating designs that felt both timeless and grounded. Working with brass and copper taught me a lot about technique and patience, as each piece required careful attention and respect for the material.

"Eventually, my desire to expand my skills led me to silversmithing. Silver has a unique beauty—its cool shine and versatility bring an elegance that instantly attracted me. After I started working with silver, I felt a new creative freedom. I knew I had found something that truly resonated with me. Silver brought out a fresh level of detail in my work, giving me the ability to play with intricate designs that highlight Armenia’s rich cultural heritage while also allowing me to introduce new elements and patterns.

"One of my goals as a jewelry artist is to create pieces that are more than just accessories. I want each item to tell a story and evoke a sense of personal connection. My designs are influenced by the beauty I find in Armenian culture and history, and I enjoy blending traditional elements with contemporary forms to create something distinct. Armenia has such a rich artistic history, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to share a piece of that through my jewelry.
