THE STORY BEHIND THE PRODUCT

Artisan Organization: Isha Jain
Country: India
I was born and brought up in Delhi, where my childhood was filled with fun. I loved sketching and coloring, and would spend hours in painting and cutting stencils. This passion for colors and paintings led me to pursue a career in designing and fashion retail management at the National Institute of Fashion Technology.
I've always loved doing something creative – whether it was related to colors or abstract modern patterns, and I also had an inclination towards computers. My first job with a fashion house was a great learning experience. But I always felt something was missing – I always wanted to do something outside the box. So started on my own. Here, I have no limitation to explore my creativity. And I am loving every moment.
"For this, I want to express my sincere gratitude to my parents. They have been extremely wonderful. They have supported me, helped me and stood by my side through all the ups and downs in my life.
"My designs are always colorful and happy. I work mostly on silk and cotton. Several artisans collaborate with me, and all the motifs are either hand block-printed or screen printed. My apparel collections tell the story of happy moments, youthfulness and a celebration of life.""
